Gynaecology (Pelvic) Ultrasound

A gynaecology ultrasound is a medical imaging procedure that enables the visualisation of the female reproductive organs, including the uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes. This includes a pelvic scan and if required a transvaginal study.

It is commonly used to diagnose various gynaecological conditions such as ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and to evaluate the uterus and ovaries for abnormalities such as polyps or tumours.
